You might be wondering...

Why did Moses climb the mountain?

Moses went up to meet with God and receive a message for the people. At Sinai, he acts as a mediator as Israel enters the covenant and receives instructions for life together.

What happened after Sinai?

After receiving the covenant and building the tabernacle, Israel left Sinai and continued through the wilderness toward the promised land. The continuing journey is told in Numbers.
